Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy and Cookies

This privacy policy sets out how Mrs Frisbee’s All Naturals uses and protects any information that you give when registering on this website.

We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. You can be assured that the information you supply will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement and we will not sell, distribute or share your personal information, unless required by law to do so. We comply with the principles of the Data Protection Act 1998, the EU e-Privacy Directive, the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 and the SafeBuy Code of Practice.

We collect information about you in order to process your order and to tailor your visit to our website to be as relevant to you as possible. That information will only be shared with other parties that are involved in the fulfilment of your order. We do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam).

In particular we use your information for the following reasons:

  • internal record keeping
  • the sending of monthly newsletters and/or offers to you by email; you may unsubscribe to these at any time
  • we may use the information to improve our services
  • we may, from time to time, contact you by email for market research purposes, but only in relation to products on our website

We have SSL (or Secure Sockets Layer) throughout the whole site. This is the standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. Look for the https in your browser address bar: we have our own SSL certification with Tsohost, our website hosts. Once at checkout on this site (at the stage you enter your credit card details), all information sent is encrypted, protecting it from interception by unintended recipients. All transactions are secure, private and tamper proof.  We do not store (or even see) your credit card details. The Online Consultation Form for Bespoke Products is also covered by SSL.

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your agreement. You have a right to ask for a copy of the information which we are holding on you. We will delete information or correct any inaccuracies at no charge as soon as you make the request.

Cookies and how we use them

We use cookies to track your behaviour on our site to assist us in tailoring your visit. You can disable cookies in your browser but some of our website functions may then be unavailable to you.

A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences.

We may use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyse data about web page traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to your needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system.

Overall, cookies can help us provide you with a better website, by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.

You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. This may prevent you from taking full advantage of the website.

Cookies also enable your logon details to be stored on your computer, enabling you to be logged on automatically in the future.

Our own cookies

Once accepted, the pop up cookies information box that appears the first time you view the homepage leaves a cookie on your computer for 12 months, so that the box doesn’t appear every time you visit the page. After a year, the cookie will be removed, the box will reappear and you will need to accept it (by clicking ‘OK’) to view the page again. No cookies are placed on your computer until you click ‘OK’.

We use cookies in our shopping cart, so that we can remember what you have chosen to purchase on previous pages. These cookies are set temporarily, and are not saved long term. Without these cookies, no one would be able to buy products from our (or anyone else’s) online business. There is also a cookie that is set which shows you your ‘last viewed’ product.

We use cookies to make our website work, including:

  • Making our shopping basket and checkout work
  • Determining if you are logged in or not
  • Remembering your search settings
  • Remembering if you have accepted our terms and conditions
  • Showing you which pages you have recently visited
  • Allowing you to add comments to our site

There is no way to prevent these cookies being set other than to not use our site.

Third party functions

Our site, like most websites, includes functionality provided by third parties, such as Facebook and Twitter.

Disabling these cookies will likely break the functions offered by these third parties.

Social Website Cookies

So you can easily ‘Like’ or share our content on the likes of Facebook and Twitter we have included sharing buttons on our site.

The privacy implications on this will vary from social network to social network and will be dependent on the privacy settings you have chosen on these networks.

Anonymous Visitor Statistics Cookies

We use cookies to compile visitor statistics such as how many people have visited our website, what type of technology they are using (e.g. Mac or Windows, which helps to identify when our site is not working as it should for particular technologies), how long they spend on the site, what page they look at etc. This helps us to continuously improve our website. These so called ‘analytics’ programs also tell us if, on an anonymous basis, how people reached this site (e.g. from a search engine) and whether they have been here before, helping us to put more money into developing our services for you instead of marketing spend.

Turning Cookies Off

You can usually switch cookies off by adjusting your browser settings to stop it from accepting cookies. Learn how here. Doing so however will likely limit the functionality of our’s and a large proportion of the world’s websites as cookies are a standard part of most modern websites

It may be that you concerns around cookies relate to so called ‘spyware’. Rather than switching off cookies in your browser you may find that anti-spyware software achieves the same objective by automatically deleting cookies considered to be invasive. Learn more about managing cookies with antispyware software.

Ratings and Reviews

In February 2014, we introduced the SafeBuy Star Ratings and Reviews. Two weeks after you place your order, you will receive an invite to complete a two-minute survey. This is an independent survey from SafeBuy’s secure research site.

Links to other websites

Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. You should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question.

This website uses etracker technology (www.etracker.com) to collect visitor behaviour data. This data is collected anonymously to be used for marketing and optimisation purposes. All visitor data is saved using an anonymous user ID to aggregate a usage profile. Cookies may be used to collect and save this data, but the data is not personally identifiable. The data will not be used to identify a visitor personally and is not aggregated with any personal data. The collection and storage of data may be refused at any time with respect to subsequent services.

We also use Google Analytics, a web analytics tool that helps website owners understand how visitors engage with their website. Google Analytics allows us to view a variety of reports about how visitors interact with our website so we can improve it. Google Analytics collects information anonymously. It reports website trends without identifying individual visitors.

We use MailChimp for our monthly newsletters and any other direct marketing email campaigns. Our newsletter subscriber list is stored on a secure MailChimp server. MailChimp will not, under any circumstances, sell this list, contact people on the list, market to people on the list or share the list with any other party, unless it is required by law. We include an Unsubscribe link on our newsletters, as required by law. To help collect email addresses for our newsletter, on 3 February 2015 we introduced a PayPal feature known as Instant Payment Notification, which sends messages about payments (and other transactional events) directly from PayPal to our website’s back-end system. We use this primarily to automate collection of buyers’ email addresses for MailChimp. Without this functionality, we would have to input the addresses manually.

Online credit card payments are secured through Stripe. We cannot see, nor do we store, your credit card details when you order online. Click to read the Stripe privacy policy.

When clicking the Facebook buttons, data is sent to Facebook.

In February 2016, we added Nosto, a customer recommendation marketing engine, to our site. Nosto analyses customers’ behaviour, learning their likes and dislikes. For further details, visit www.nosto.com.

We may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 5 February 2016.
