From the moment I could reach my mother’s dressing table to explore all her bottles of wonderful lotions and potions I’ve had a lifelong passion for beauty. As a child my mum told me these bottles contained magical ingredients with special powers, extracted from plants which I later found out were essential oils.
Growing up, my family were quite health conscious and were interested in alternative therapies as well as conventional medicine. Our family GP practised both general medicine and homeopathy. If you went to visit him with a minor ailment he would always try and give you something homeopathic before he gave you conventional medicine.
This always fascinated me and I couldn’t understand why more people didn’t know about it. This further inspired me in my fascination of the healing power of nature.

After leaving school I studied Beauty Therapy at Blackpool College.
Having successfully completed the full-time two-year course, I worked as a beauty therapist for several years before taking time out to raise my family.
It was around this time that one of my sons began having problems with his skin. His skin was very sensitive and he couldn’t use most bath and shower products. Even products off the dermatologist didn’t seem to help. This led me to spending many hours researching and then making my own natural skincare products for him.

I decided that I wanted to take a more holistic approach to my life and work so started training as a holistic therapist.
Life was hard for several years, struggling to study whilst holding down a job and trying to bring up a young family.
After qualifying as a holistic therapist I spent the next 15 years working long hours building up my holistic therapy clinic and client list.
Aromatherapy became my passion. I loved blending the different essential oils with their therapeutic capabilities and making custom blends to meet my clients needs.
After 15 years of performing massage and reflexology it began to take its toll on my hands and arms causing me to suffer with repetitive sprain injury, pain and numbness and forcing me to stop doing the job I loved.
I was worried that all my years of training was going to go to waste and as you can imagine I was devastated. I worried what I would do for work and how else I could use my aromatherapy skills. Luckily some of my aromatherapy clients kept in touch, and asked me to make them aromatherapy products for them to use at home.

As word spread my customer base grew and I began making bespoke aromatherapy bath, body and skincare products for their friends and families. I also made products for people with allergies and sensitive skin conditions who had difficulty finding products to suit them. They found my products worked for them as they were natural and didn’t contain any nasty skin irritants found in many other products.
This seemed like a natural progression. It was a way of still using my skills and years of experience as an holistic therapist, aromatherapist, and beauty therapist, just in different way.
It was at this point that I decided to start my own natural skincare company, and Mrs Frisbee’s all naturals was launched in 2011.

As an experienced aromatherapist I have chosen the raw natural ingredients and pure essential oils used in my products for their therapeutic capabilities and their unique skincare properties, whether it be to soothe and calm irritated skin, rejuvenate dull looking skin, or for their natural anti-ageing properties.
I personally hand-make all the products, which I make in small batches to ensure the freshness of the ingredients and pure essential oils. This ensures my products are of the highest quality.
